“Good design is obvious. Great design is transparent.” –Joe Sparano
Design is not just the art of being beautiful; it is the craft, science, and philosophy of solving problems, communicating a message, and engaging the audience.
We live in a very visual culture, and it is important that the message (be it a marketing campaign for a small business, a math lesson for seventh graders, or graphics for a worship service) not get lost in all the noise. Successful design attracts interest and facilitates engagement. Customers remember the brand; students meet the learning objectives; the audience leaves inspired.
I infuse design thinking into every project or task that I take on. I aim to use my design expertise to innovatively solve problems and create efficient and meaningful experiences for the end-user.
