|Design is not just the art of being beautiful; it is the craft, science, and philosophy of solving problems, communicating a message, and engaging the audience.||Innovative thinking is necessary to create a rewarding experience for the end-user. It is important to focus on user interaction and to communicate with a consistent voice.||Educating learners means empowering them to think. Successful curricula feature carefully chosen learning experiences to reach the unique needs of students.|
FEATURED PORTFOLIO PROJECTS
I have over nine years of experience in design, strategy, and education across a variety of organizations and levels of education. Here are a few featured projects from my portfolio.
|Genetics e-Learning Modules
Three case-based e-learning modules created to relate classical and molecular genetics concepts taught in the medical school classroom to the genetic information applied in the clinical setting.
|St. James UMC Narrative Budget
Narrative budget document designed to tell the story of the church’s ministry and to inspire and encourage donors to give during the annual stewardship campaign.
|Allergy Center Direct Mail Campaign
Direct mail campaign designed to advertise the Allergy Center of Spartanburg & Greer ENT to both patients and referring physicians.
SKILLS & PROCESSES
I do not follow a single process for all projects. Instead, I pull a tool or skill from my toolbox based on the needs of a particular project. I also am not afraid to learn new software and new processes, if an innovative solution requires it.
